Armstrong, age 69, of Gore Road, N. Kingsville, died Saturday,
Feb. 2, 2008, in University Hospitals Conneaut Medical Center.Born in Conneaut,
Dec. 26, 1938, the son of the late John I. and Esther (Burdick) Armstrong, he
had been a life-long area resident.Mr. Armstrong was employed by Spartech
Polycom, as a bambury operator for many years.He is survived by a daughter,
Trina Armstrong, and a son, Robert Armstrong, both of Conneaut; a granddaughter,
Crystal (Dustin) Budy; two brothers, John and Larry Armstrong, both of Monroe
Township; and several nieces and nephews.Besides his parents, he was preceded in
death by his wife of 45 years, Frances, in 2005.Graveside Services will be held
11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, N. Kingsville, with
the Rev. Lester Bolen, pastor of the Kelloggsville Church of the Nazarene,
officiating. It was Mr. Armstrong’s request that there be no calling hours.The
family suggests that memorials be made to Hospice of Western Reserve. Envelopes
will be available at the THOMPSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 345 Main Street, Conneaut,
which has charge of the arrangements.
